The Global Biotechnology Innovation Center (JHBIC) hosted a webinar featuring Professor Shu Jia from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University, under the theme “Toward High-Speed Light-Field Biophotonics.”
This webinar held significant academic and strategic importance, as the topic was closely aligned with the technical expertise required by JHBIC during the execution of the GITCC project.

On June 28, 2024, Johns Hopkins University proudly welcomed participants to the “JHU–Korea Biotechnology and Drug Discovery Symposium.”
The event followed the Korea–U.S. Advanced Industry Technology Forum in Washington, D.C. the day before, further strengthening the technology partnership between the two countries.

Johns Hopkins University (JHU) has been chosen by South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) to lead a Global Industrial Technology Cooperation Center (GITCC). The new JHU Biotechnology Cooperation Center will be directed by Deok-Ho Kim, a professor of biomedical engineering.
